40ft 3 Axle Curtain Side Trailer – for Palletized Freight

This is a curtain side semi trailer – 40 ft long, 3 axles. The sides slide open completely. Forklifts can load pallets from either side. No need to back into a dock.

Main frame: Q345B steel. Crossmembers at 400 mm spacing.

1. Load from side, not just rear
   Pull the curtain strap, slide it open. Forklift drives straight in. No backing, no dock leveled required. Saves 10 minutes per stop.
2. 3 axles give you legal payload
   Three 13T axles allow up to 40 tons gross. You can fill the entire 40 ft with pallets – no weight fines.
3. Curtain is field–repairable
   Torn or cut curtain? Unbolt the damaged panel, bolt a new one. No welding. No downtime waiting for a shop.
4. Waterproof but not condensing
   Curtain seals keep rain out during highway driving. The fabric breathes – no moisture buildup inside cardboard boxes.
5. Floor handles forklift traffic
   28 mm hardwood or 6 mm steel. Pallet jacks and forklifts won’t dent or split it.
6. Simple internal tie–down
   Steel roof bows. You can add E-track or logistic posts on the side wall for strapping.

Reflective tape: 3M or equivalent, DOT C2 (red/white).
