3 Axle 40CBM Pneumatic Cement Tanker for Cement & Fly Ash

Product Overview

A pneumatic discharge cement tanker trailer bulk powder transport unit is not a standard liquid tanker. It is a sealed pressure vessel engineered to transport dry powdered materials—cement, fly ash, lime powder, mineral powder—and unload them using compressed air. The pneumatic discharge system differentiates it from gravity feed alternatives. Compressed air at 0.2–0.35 MPa is injected into the tank, fluidizing the powder so it flows like liquid through discharge pipes to storage silos up to 15 metres high and 5 metres horizontally.

This 3-axle 40-cubic-meter unit is built for cement plants, concrete batching stations, and large-scale infrastructure projects that require bulk powder delivered ready for immediate use. The V-shaped tank design enables complete discharge, with less than 1% material left inside. The fully sealed, closed design keeps moisture away from the cargo

Why Pneumatic Discharge Matters for Bulk Powder Transport

Gravity discharge cement tankers depend on slope and vibration, with obvious usage limits. Pneumatic discharge perfectly solves these three pain points:

  1. Fast Unloading Efficiency

Compressed air fluidizes dry powder, delivering 1.2–1.5 tons per minute. A full 40-ton load finishes unloading in 25–35 minutes, greatly cutting waiting time and improving daily transport trips.

  1. Flexible Long-Distance Conveying

It pumps materials 5m horizontally and 15m vertically into silos directly. No extra conveyor equipment needed, unlike gravity types that must park right above hoppers.

  1. Low Residue & Dust-Free

Residual material rate ≤0.2%, with barely 50kg left after discharge. Fully sealed structure avoids dust leakage and moisture absorption, protecting cement quality.

Built for Real Bulk Powder Transport Conditions

 V-shaped Tank Design

V/Cone tank bottom plus internal fluidized beds guide material fully to outlet, discharge residue below 1%.

High-Strength Steel Structure

Tank: Q235B steel, 5–6mm shell, 6mm end plate; chassis Q345B manganese steel with automatic welding. Reinforced frame adapts to rough unpaved roads.

Internal Fluidized Bed System

Built-in air pads aerate powder for smooth flow. Matching valve manifold ensures stable airflow and clean pipeline discharge.

Independent Power Unit

Weichai diesel engine drives dual-cylinder air compressor, 0.2MPa, 12m³/min. Unload without tractor connection; strong bracket resists road vibration. Optional Multi-Compartment

2–3 separate sealed compartments with independent unloading. Transport different cement or fly ash in one trip without cross-contamination. Anti-Corrosion Inner Coating

Sandblasted inner tank with polyurethane coating, anti-rust, no cargo pollution, longer service life.

Airtight Manhole Sealing

500mm manhole with automotive rubber seal, keeps tank pressure stable, easy to replace and low maintenance.

Dustproof Electrical System

IP67 sealed wiring and full set of standard lights, high temperature and dust resistant for harsh working sites.

Application Scenarios for This Cement Tanker Trailer

Cement Plants & Bulk Terminals

Deliver bulk Portland cement to depots and job sites; pneumatic discharge ensures dust-free conveying.

Concrete Batching Plants

Ideal for cement and fly ash supply. 40CBM capacity matches standard silo feeding for one-time full unloading.

Large Infrastructure Projects

Perfect for highways, bridges, dams and airports. Onboard diesel compressor supports independent unloading at remote sites with no external power.

Fly Ash & Mineral Powder Haulage

Fully sealed tank avoids dust pollution, meeting environmental requirements for fly ash and mineral powder transport from power plants.

Lime Powder Delivery

Suitable for steelmaking and road soil stabilization, reliably transporting fine powder within 0.1mm particle size.

African & Middle East Remote Areas

Reinforced chassis and dust-proof electric system adapt to rough unpaved roads, hot and dusty conditions in North, East, West Africa and Middle East markets.
